For many photographers, Fine Art Printing remains a confusing and frustrating subject. Without the print, a digital photograph is just another computer file, and the series of steps that must be followed to create a beautiful print is often long and varied. This seminar is designed to create neutral, beautiful prints the first time, every time.   Fine Art Printing for Photographers

Photography: Beyond the Camera (12 Hr. Class) :: June 6,13,20 OR August 15,22,29 OR August 16 (Houston)
Photography is often thought of as a technical art, but the art of photography is more than pixels, lenses, and bodies. This class will examine those non-technical aspects of the art including composition, color, nuance, gesture, light, and more.   Photography: Beyond the Camera (12 Hr. Class)

Just mention Profiles to those photographers who are trying to get accurate color, and be prepared for a tirade of complaints and problems. I have been there, and now I am bringing a class that addresses Color Management in a way that is relevant to photographers.   Color Management for Photographers

The Inside Passage :: Alaska :: July 19-23 OR July 26-30
For many photographers, myself included, Alaska is the premier destination for photographing nature and wildlife in North America. I have been thrilled to visit and lead workshops to Alaska for many years, and once again, we are taking an amazing trip to Juneau, Alaska to photograph whales, eagles, icebergs, glaciers, and so much more. This summer we will be teaming up with Captain Jay Beedle, a life long Juneau resident, and one of the best captains I have ever worked with. Read on to discover more about this amazing trip to Alaska.   The Inside Passage :: Alaska

Wildlife in Montana :: October 22-27, 2009
In the Summer of 2007, I traveled to Montana to photograph at a game ranch that specializes in providing photographers the opportunities to photograph animals that they may never get to see or photograph, even after years in the wild. The Triple D Game Farm, located in Kalispell, MT, is the premier location for photographing healthy, well-cared for animals of all kinds. These animals are ambassadors for their species, and it is through compelling photography that the plight of many of these creatures is brought to light.   Wildlife in Montana
